DR. OHI CHOUDHURY
Dr Choudhury endeavours to create a therapeutic environment built on trust, compassion, transparency and an open-reflective understanding of your difficulties. She believes each and every individual is shaped by their unique life experiences, and as such, the narrative shared is an expression of their journey.
Dr Choudhury initially completed her BA Joint Honours in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Reading. She was later awarded the title of Doctor of Psychology (DPsych) from City, University of London and has since completed a post-doctoral diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
For over a decade Dr Choudhury has dedicated her professional career working across various primary and secondary NHS Mental Health Services in West Berkshire and London, with a clinical focus on adults experiencing psychological distress and co-existing mental health disorders.
Her experience ranges from working with severe and complex mental health presentations with in-patient psychiatric rehabilitation, to common mental health difficulties situated at community psychological therapy services.
